ALWAYS AND NEVER AT HOME

Always and Never at Home is a quiet meditation on how smartphones are reshaping our sense of presence. In an age of constant connection, attention has become currency, something we’ve gradually traded away. As our minds drift into virtual spaces, our bodies remain behind, increasingly disconnected from the here and now. This series lingers in that subtle blur between the physical and the digital, presence and absence, looking and being looked at. Through intimate, ambiguous images, it invites the viewer to consider the soft dissonance of everyday life mediated by screens, a world where closeness is no longer defined by physical proximity, but by the strength of a signal. These photographs don’t offer answers, but instead ask us to pause, notice, and perhaps reclaim a more grounded kind of attention.
