Documentary Approach

I approach weddings with sensitivity and instinct; blending into the background when needed and gently guiding only when it helps create something natural and relaxed.

My work sits between documentary and fine art. Observational but considered.

I’m interested in atmosphere as much as aesthetics, photographs that don’t just show what your wedding looked like, but what it felt like to be there.

Over the years my work has been recognised internationally through awards, exhibitions and commissions, but the thing that matters most to me is creating images that feel timeless and deeply personal to the people in them.

No awkward posing. No performance. Just beautiful, honest storytelling.

  • Every wedding has its own rhythm, energy and emotional texture.

    Some are quiet and intimate, others loud and chaotic, I’m not trying to force your day into a formula.
    I respond to what’s actually happening.

    Most of the time you probably won’t notice me photographing. I move lightly, observe carefully and look for moments as they naturally unfold — the atmosphere in a room, a fleeting glance, the way people hold each other, the emotion between moments.

    When portraits happen, I keep things simple and relaxed. Nothing overly posed or performative. Just gentle direction when needed, good light and space for real connection.

    Whether I’m photographing or filming, the aim is always the same:
    to create work that feels honest, cinematic and emotionally true to your day.

    Package Two — Full Day Story (Complete Coverage)

    Up to 8 hours coverage

    A more expansive, cinematic document of the day — moving from preparation through to the first dance. This is the full rhythm of the wedding, told with pace, detail, and space to breathe.

    Package Three — Film + Photography Story (Extended Narrative)

    Full-day coverage with photography, film, and second shooter

    A complete moving-image and stills package — designed for weddings where story, movement, and multiple perspectives matter. A second shooter allows coverage to split, capturing parallel moments. Film brings rhythm, sound, and memory into motion.
